My photographic journey began when my brother, Gary, gave me an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic in 1963. I spent years documenting our life with that camera. When I retired after 35 years in the aerospace industry, my goal was to build a darkroom in the garage and improve my photographic print-making skills. The digital photography revolution overcame that dream and I haven't exposed a frame of film since 2001.
I concentrate on wildflowers during the short blooming season here in Southern California and landscapes during the rest of the year. We live on the edge of Wildwood Park in Thousand Oaks, CA and my goal is to find and photograph the wildflowers and scenic views that make this such a beautiful area.
